When 911 hit I lost a few people. I had a nightmare that people were coming
into my home. Each time I looked my house got bigger and bigger, there were many
rooms and people were climbing in the windows to get healed. There were so many
hurt people. I said my house turned into a mansion. Later I heard this poem and
it makes a lot of sense.
My Father's Mansion
My Father's mansion has many
rooms
with love for all his children.
As long as we do share his love,
And see
that we are free.
And see that all are free to grow,
And see that all are free
to know,
And free to open or close the door of their own room.
What is a room
without a door,
Which sometimes locks and stand ajar,
What is a room without a
wall,
To keep out sight and sound from all.
And dwellers in each room
should
have the right to
choose their own design,
And colour schemes to suit their
own,
Though differing from mine.
And each room has its own design,
To suit the
owners state of mind,
And those who want them all the same,
Don't understand the
human game.
My Family's mansions many rooms,
Have rooms for all his children,
If
we do but share in his love,
And see that all are free,
The Choice is ours to
with all its many joys abound,
Or to continue as we have
and
burn God's mansion down.

Hi Rosie et al,
To answer to your Preface and world comments; I know
what really happened on 9-11-01 just by looking to your thousands of picture and

Yes!

Yes! If he can swore to Allah
and tells dirty lies.
Yes! If he not a coward - come out from the foxholes.
We can says we are equally suffered because for the last 30 years these

thank you for compiling these photos of this tragic day in the world's
history. I have not visited the site in quite some time, I have had it
bookmarked since the beginning.
Too bad the pride that was shown for our
great country has faded for some. Some are treating the war as a long-running
mini-series..... This is our new reality people.
We are living in war-times.
Be true,be caring,be respectful, everytime our flag is raised. Everytime you
hear of an innocent life lost, and everytime you look at your safe, secure, daily
life, and get down on your knees and count your blessings.
Sept
11th, 2001..should be in our minds everyday.
Thank you for this collection of
photos. It serves as an ocean of knowledge to educate the world of the harshness
of this world, but also reminds us of our blessings
too.

Thank you for showing myself and others that their is still humanity out
there. That we are not the only ones that are affected by the acts of harm from
others. Some people say that the United States of America is an arrogant
country, but who will be there to help them in their time of need? The United
States of America, of course. I can honestly say I am VERY PROUD to be an
american, and of everyone who stands behind us. God bless the victims, their

I still saddens me every time I see a picture or watch the news. Inwhich I
don't do either watch the news, or read the paper. It seems the world feeds on
the bad instead of the good in life. I am not Ignorant but I refuse to let the
negativity in life on a daily basis. I wish for world peace and for God to bring
many blessings into all the people that have lost their loved ones on 911 or
there after. God bless this world we live in and keep everyone safe and

ok, 9.11. was a big tragedy! but what the fuck has 9.11 got to do with iraq?
nothing at all! usa is an arogant and (because realy badly informed) stupid
nation! you all believe that there was a link between al qaida and saddam! how
can you believe that? saddam is an atheist and bin laden called saddam the
devil! and now you even believe that bush wanted this war to bring freedom to
the iraqy people! this argument only appeared after it got clear that no
md-weapons could be found! what about the freedom for palestina, tibet,
nigeria.....???? your president (who was already cheating to get elected) and
the goverment is the bigest danger for the world.....they call themselfes
christians...hahaha thats the best joke! war is never!!! never a solution!

There are few events that truly are life-changing. I was in college when
President Kennedy was assasinated- a true loss of innocence for the country. I
think the next most profound event was 9-1-1. To forget would be to forgive.. we
have an obligation to pass our "stories" in our own eyes on to our children and
grandchildren. Lest they never forget how priceless and fragile life

Thank you and all of the contributors for creating such a memorial for the
entire world to share. I appreciate the time it took and the angish you all must
have experienced looking over the hundred of photographs you gathered.
We as Americans must remember the principles of our US Constitution in
that our Nation was created "of the people, for the people and by the people."
Our faith in our nation will not be undermined.
I enclose the following
email I received a few weeks ago. It is a marvelous definition of who and what
we are as American. The author is unknown other than the writer was Australian.
"What is an American?
You may have missed it, but recently there
was a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer of a
reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.
So, an Australian
dentist wrote the following to let everyone know what an American is, so they
would know when they found one (it seems like our Australian, British and
Canadian friends are always at our side when we need them!).
An American
is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, or
Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese,
Japanese, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghan. An
American may also be a Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache or one of the
many other tribes known as native Americans.
An American is Christian,
or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims
in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America, they are
free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also free to believe in
no religion. For that, he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to
armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.
An
American is from the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The root
of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which
recognizes the God-given right of each man and woman to the pursuit of
happiness.
An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about
every other nation in the world in their time of need. When Afghanistan was
overrun by the Soviet army twenty years ago, Americans came with arms and
supplies to enable the people to win back their country. As of the morning of
September 11, 2001, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor
in Afghanistan.
Americans welcome the best -- the best products, the
best books, the best music, the best food, the best athletes. But they also
welcome the least. The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty,
welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores,
the homeless, tempest-tossed. These, in fact, are the people who built America.
Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11,
earning a better life for their families. I've been told that the World Trade
Center victims were from at least thirty other countries, cultures, and first
languages -- including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So,
you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did Stalin, and Mao,
and every blood thirsty tyrant in the history of the world. But, in doing so,
you would just be killing yourself, because Americans are not a particular
people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit and
freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American."

I just found your website and got no further than the worlds reaction before
I was in tears. I've felt only anger and depression since 9-11 and hadn't
allowed myself to grieve. I finally realized the attack occurred against the US
but affected all of humanity and therefore, though I'm proud to be an American,
more important, I'm once again, proud to be part of the human race. I needed to
let it out and get back to the business of living. I thank God I found this site
